Marc Adelberg, DDS
Dr. Marc Adelberg has been delivering outstanding pediatric dentistry since 1998. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Albany, majoring in psychology, and his dental education from the University of Buffalo. He completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center, the hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating in 1998. He is a board certified pediatric dentist.
He often lectures to residents at Montefiore Medical Center as well as mommy-and-me groups, pre-schools, nursery schools and kindergarten classes. Dr. Adelberg is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He performs in many school shows in the area, introducing the fun of dentistry to many 3- to 6-year-olds.
Dr. Adelberg was raised in Long Island and maintains a home and family there. He practices both on the South and North Shores of Long Island in Massapequa Park, Nesconset and West Islip. He and his staff strive to bring you the most comprehensive pediatric dental treatment available.
Ericka Montalvan, DDS
Dr. Ericka Montalvan, a pediatric dentist since 2005, has been practicing dentistry since 2000 after graduating from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, majoring in biochemistry and minoring in chemistry. After dental school, she continued a one-year general practice residency at a VA Medical Center in Florida. Two years after practicing general dentistry, her heart was set on pediatric dentistry, and she went to New Jersey to complete a two-year residency at UMDNJ Dental School. She is a board certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Ericka, while practicing in our three Long Island locations, also volunteers in the community and is involved in dental missionary trips around the world. She is an active member of many dental associations such as the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the NYS Dental Association.
She was raised in sunny Miami, Florida and now lives in New York with her husband, daughter and son. Dr. Ericka is fluent in Spanish and Sign Language. She strives to provide exceptional care for your children.
Marc Bennet, DMD MS
Dr. Marc Bennet grew up in Manalapan, NJ and is a graduate of Brandeis University in Waltham MA. At Brandeis University he completed a degree in biology and and a minor in health policy. He received his dental degree from the the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and stayed at the University Hospital for a two year specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry. While completing his residency he also obtained a master of science in dentistry. He is a board certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Bennet is specialized in the care of infants, children, teens and children with special needs. Dr. Bennet is an active member of many dental organizations and attends many continuing education courses. In his free time Dr. Bennet enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves to travel and is scuba certified. Dr. Bennet lives in Old Bethpage Long Island with his wife Debra and their two busy boys. Dr. Bennet strives to treat every child in an individualized way with compassion and a sense of humor.
Jeanine Pistilli, DDS
Dr. Jeanine Pistilli completed her undergraduate education at Fordham University with a major in chemistry and a minor in economics. She went on to receive her dental degree from SUNY Stony Brook in 2004. Following her dental education, Dr. Jeanine completed two years of a general practice residency, holding the position of Chief Resident. She then completed a two-year pediatric dental residency at Staten Island University Hospital. She is a board certified pediatric dentist and an active member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Jeanine resides in Long Island with her husband and two beautiful children. Her goal is to provide quality dental treatment along with a positive dental experience.
Adam Postel, DMD
Dr. Adam Postel grew up in New Jersey and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University. He went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He then pursued a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. There, he was selected by his colleagues and attending doctors as Chief Resident. Dr. Postel is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a board certified pediatric dentist.
Dr. Postel is excited to join the team at Adelberg-Montalvan Pediatric Dentistry and continue to keep children smiling with his compassion and sense of humor. When not practicing dentistry Dr. Postel can be found exploring museums and restaurants in New York City, rooting on NY sports teams, traveling and spending time with his friends and family. He resides on Long Island with his wife Amanda.
Martin R. Boorin, DMD
Dr. Martin R. Boorin is an experienced, resident-trained, fully qualified dentist anesthesiologist. He graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and completed a two-year anesthesiology residency at Long Island Medical Center. Dr. Boorin is a Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesia and the National Dental Board of anesthesiology. He has been a staff dentist anesthesiologist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center since 1987 and is the section chief for dental anesthesiology in the Department of Dental Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is active in many professional organizations and has lectured before numerous professional groups.
Dr. Boorin's mission is to provide the highest standard of patient care and safety, in the comfort, convenience and familiar surroundings of the pediatric dental office.
Jonathan Schecter, DDS - Massapequa Park Office
Dr. Jonathan Schecter received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry. Following a General Practice residency at New York University, Dr. Schecter participated in a two-year orthognathic surgical fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, where he was published for assisting with the creation of cutting-edge treatment techniques for children with craniofacial deformities. He then went on to earn his postgraduate degree in orthodontics from Stony Brook University. Dr. Schecter is an active member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. When not creating beautiful smiles for people, Dr. Schecter loves spending time with his wife, Jill, and his two little girls: Mia and Ava.
Jenny Abraham, DDS - Nesconset Office
Dr. Jenny is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and practices in our Nesconset office. She has been delivering outstanding orthodontic care in West Islip for more than 10 years. Dr. Jenny graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook Dental School, where she also completed her 3 year residency in orthodontics. She has been Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY at Stony Brook's orthodontic program. She is a member of: the Dental Staff of Good Samaritan Hospital, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. She is proficient in treating both children and adults with braces, Invisalign and Invisalign Teen. Dr. Jenny especially loves working with children and has two of her own, Isabella and Luke Surrusco.
In her free time, she is a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's Daisy troop. She loves to read, swim and spend time with her family. Dr. Jenny resides in St. James with her family.
